World Health Organisation has already started cautioning the excess usage of antibiotic medicines being prescribed by the modern medical practitioners. The side effects are alarming. Though the antibiotics suppress or cure the identified diseases, it affects other vital organs in the body and killing them slowly since the self-immune system is totally disturbed. It would be better if the Modern Medical practitioners have basic knowledge of our ancient system of herbal medicines and co-ordinate with the AYUSH practitioners in the sole interest of patients and their valuable life, leaving behind the commercial interests of modern pharmaceutical industries.
